what it means to Socitm Advisory
At Socitm Advisory, we have a shared desire to give something back to society.
For any modern growing business, having an approach to the impact of climate change, supporting local communities, ensuring responsible business practices and the creation of a quality working environment are all a core part of business strategy. We have three focus areas for our CSR work:
Our CSR Vision 2025
By 2021, we will have donated at least £5,000 to charitable causes by the end of the year
By 2022, we will have 30% of our people involved in some type of social impact work, reflecting their personal passions and supporting what Socitm and Socitm Advisory offers an an organisation
By 2023, we will have contributed 5,000 hours in employee-driven voluntary work as part of our community programme
By 2025, we will be regarded as an environmentally conscious business in line with our industry sector
By 2024, we will be a leading voice in the communities in which we operate, promoting the wellbeing agenda to keep our colleagues, partners and customers happy, healthy and engaged
Our 2021 Charities
In 2021, we have chosen two amazing charities to support over the next 12 months - The Lowdown (a voluntary mental health charity) and The Trussell Trust (supporting a nationwide network of food banks).
The Lowdown is a voluntary mental healthy charity, providing free and confidential counselling, emotional wellbeing, sexual health and LGBTQ+ support services for 11-25 year olds.
They offer a caring environment where young people are supported on their journey towards positive emotional health and wellbeing.
They are proud recipients of The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service and also members of the REACH partnership of five agencies which provides professional and confidential counselling for young people across Northamptonshire.
The Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of food banks and together they provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
In the UK, more than 14 million people are living in poverty - including 4.5 million children. The Trussell Trust support more than 1,200 food banks in the UK to provide a minimum of three days' nutritionally-balanced emergency food to people who have been referred in crisis, as well as support to help people resolve the crises they face.

and Employee Wellbeing Initiatives
Wellbeing is vitally important to us and sits at the heart of our company. We want to ensure we are supporting our colleagues and their families through the twists and turns of everyday life.
As well as our own Wellbeing Hub, we provide all employees access to our Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) via the Health Assured website. The portal provides confidential access to wellbeing facts, videos, self-help programmes, interactive tools and educational resources to help with life's challenges.
We have also recently launched Socitm Advisory Wellbeing with hero wellbeing offering a wealth of resources and support to our team and specialist training for our dedicated in-house Wellbeing Managers and Wellbeing Champions, who are here to help anyone in our team!
