Meet out 2020/2021 Future Consultant...
Sophie Darlington, MSc International Social and Public Policy (London School of Economics and Political Science)
"Before studying for my MSc at LSE, I graduated with a bachelor's in Politics, International Studies and Global Sustainable Development from University of Warwick. As part of my undergraduate degree I also studied at the Institute of Sustainability at Monash University in Australia. I also recently completed a sustainability internship with AVEVA, strategising the integration of emerging legislation and ESG market trends into AVEVA's incoming sustainability framework, analysing future sustainability policy within the context of clients' digital transformation.
I was particularly drawn to the working culture at Socitm Advisory - a collaborative team dynamic is a working environment I really favour. I was also intrigued by the mergence of digitalisation and public policy, a coupling I haven't come across within my studies, so I'm looking forward to learning more about this. During my time on the Future Consultant Programme I hope to better understand the role consultancies serve within the public sector, and the role digitalisation can play in optimising public services"
