ICT service manager

Socitm Advisory have an exciting six-month fixed term opportunity to help shape technology services for an ambitious South London borough whilst they recruit to a permanent post.
Six-month contract | Full-time
Your role is to lead an ICT service working closely with senior management, staff, suppliers, and partners. Your mindset is as important as your technical competency, so we’re looking for strong interpersonal skills, able to lead and empower staff and building collaborative relationships with users. You’ll have experience of working in local government ICT and be able to drive value for money supporting service improvements and contract management.

You will help shape key programmes of work, including the rollout of Microsoft 365 and new ways of working; an upgraded website and online resident service; reviewing cloud hosted services; telephony; and our cyber security approach to name a few.
You will be reporting to the Head of Transformation and Digital, a Corporate Leadership Team member, sit alongside the leads for strategy and transformation and supported by a strong senior leadership team in ICT, with deep technical expertise.
You will be required to be on site for 2 days per week, and available to start work ASAP.
