We are Socitm Advisory - the management consulting business for the public sector.

As a Learning and Development Consultant you will be responsible for the timely design and development of end-user instructional materials, whilst adhering to quality assurance and best learning practice. There will be the need to use a variety of authoring tools and/or media (including video etc.), therefore competence in writing and development in this field is essential. You will have support from our marketing team to produce collateral and materials, so videography/design skills are not required.

The role will be collaborative working alongside subject matter experts from our clients, the business change team and the learning function. There may also be the need to support the delivery of training sessions and additional support where required in content delivery.

What we're looking for

  • Essential good standard of written and technical English with good quality instructional design skills
     

  • Desirable experience in Oracle Fusion, SAP, ERP, Office 365, Agile Coaching, Service Design, etc.
     

  • Experience in change, transformation or IT programmes and working in an Agile environment
     

  • Proven experience of creating high quality materials using various media and authoring tools (video, eLearning, user guides, etc.)
     

  • Technology savvy: strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other productivity tools
     

  • Highly competent learning professional with knowledge of current learning trends and practice
     

  • Expert in creating multi-channel learning programmes
     

  • Inspired copy-writing skills
