With a responsibility for project delivery, developing the skills and collateral available and proactive relationship management, this role is pivotal to the good work that we do.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrable experience within digital, data and technology services within the public sector
     

  • Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder relationships
     

  • Experience of consulting with clients and coming up with solution resolutions to their technology, digital or data challenges and requirements
     

  • Enjoy driving development of toolkits, methodologies, case studies, thought leadership, and collateral
     

  • enthusiastic for skills transfer and formal training in specialist areas, both internally and with client teams
     

  • Not essential but preferable - lead, manage and develop direct reports

Key responsibilities

  • Be a trusted and credible advisor to our clients (largely as a result of providing exceptional subject matter expertise) and support the Client Service Director to nurture senior stakeholder relationships across the portfolio, led by - but not exclusively contained to - service line
     

  • Through confident ownership of your area of expertise, assist in the planning, programme management and delivery of end-to-end projects in key clients
     

  • Provide a depth of expertise in at least one core service line and become a trusted and credible advisor to the customers within
     

  • Conduct diagnostic work and prepare recommendations for the client including utilisation of subject matter expertise
     

  • Contribute to key programme meetings including kick off meetings and Programme Board - this includes deputising for Client Service Directors and Directors as required
     

  • Liaise with senior members of the client stakeholder group at key milestones such as Programme Board
     

  • Provide supervisory and/or mentoring to more junior members of the team as required and comfortable
     

  • Identifying follow on opportunities within current clients - be confident in acting as the first point of contact and/or facilitating an introduction to a more qualified member of the team
